1.1.1. Ask the patient to state their full name and date of birth.
1.1.2. Confirm the provided information with the identification wristband or another official patient identifier, if available.
1.1.3. In cases of uncertainty, consult with a healthcare provider or supervisor to verify patient identity.

2. Infection Control and Safety

2.1. We maintain rigorous infection control and safety practices to protect both patients and staff during phlebotomy procedures.

Procedure:
2.1.1. Adhere to hand hygiene protocols, including proper handwashing and the use of hand sanitizers.
